Responsibilities

  • Participate in various assignments in one or more lines of services (financial information, systems and processes, analysis and planning, transactional and financial support), such as: 
    • Analysis, preparation, review, and presentation of financial information 
    • Preparation and presentation of financial analyses and support for budgeting exercises 
    • Implementation of dashboards and financial forecasts tailored to clients 
    • Review of existing processes and recommendations for improvements 
    • Temporary replacement mandates at client sites 
  • Prepare deliverables that meet client needs and the established service offering
  • Establish and maintain sustainable and constructive relationships with clients
  • Take charge of files and/or tasks independently 
  • Prioritize process automation and efficiency using available technologies 
  • Represent ComptInc to consulting clients

Qualifications and Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • CPA designation or candidate for the profession 
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Organization and planning skills 
  • Good time management and meeting deadlines 
  • Strong written and verbal presentation/communication skills in both French and English
  • Ability to convey knowledge to other team members and clients 
  • Ability to delegate and exercise professional judgment 
  • Rigor, autonomy, and leadership 

Recommended

  • Specific experience in financial reporting, external audit, or equivalent 
  • Specialization in a particular field, such as: 
    • Modeling; 
    • Accounting standards; 
    • Process/optimization; 
    • IT/systems; 
    • Data analysis; 
    • Finance
