Responsibilities
- Manage various mandates within one or more service lines (financial information, systems and processes, analysis and planning, transactional and financial support), such as:
- Analysis, preparation, review, and presentation of financial information.
- Preparation and presentation of financial analyses and support for the budgeting process.
- Implementation of dashboards and financial forecasts tailored to clients.
- Review of existing processes and recommendations for improvements.
- Temporary replacement assignments with clients.
- Review of the team's work related to the mandates.
- Prepare deliverables that meet the client's needs and the established service offering.
- Be alert to potential improvements related to the initial mandate.
- Establish and maintain lasting and constructive relationships with clients.
- Take charge of your files and/or tasks autonomously.
- Prioritize process automation and efficiency using available technologies.
- Maintain the required level of training for CPA accreditation by selecting training programs that meet our clients' needs.
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals, budget monitoring, and analysis of hours.
- Represent ComptInc with consulting clients.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA designation.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good time management and deadline adherence.
- High-level presentation/communication skills, both written and verbal (French and English).
- Ability to transfer knowledge to other team members and clients.
- Ability to delegate and exercise professional judgment.
- Rigor, autonomy, and leadership.
Recommended:
- Experience in team management.
- Specific experience in financial information disclosure, external audit, or equivalent.
- Specialization in a particular area, such as:
- Modeling.
- Accounting standards.
- Process/optimization.
- IT/systems.
- Data analysis.
